RARE Circa 1885 Edward Richardson Victorian Silver 800g Teapot
ER into a rectangle small worker marks entered in London in 1885 – Queen Victoria. Rococo style Victorian sterling silver teapot with classic Victorian floral scrollwork surrounding cartouches on each opposing side; one side is monogrammed. Decorative floral finial and swan neck spout; hallmarked circa 1885 by Edward Richardson. Acanthus scroll handle. Swag and tassels around hinged lid. Four raised balanced ornate feet. Ivory handle insulators. Elaborate hallmark underneath the pot.

Condition; soft metal dents and this item bears a couple of small ones. Otherwise this is a very good item which may benefit from a clean but this has been left with the patina of age. Hallmark rubbed (please see photographs). Great example.
