George VI Threepenny Piece Coin Unusual Example
Threepence coins underwent significant changes during George VI's reign. From 1937, new 12-sided nickel-brass threepence coins were introduced, which were initially used alongside silver threepences. This coin is perfect in every way until you look at the underside which is barren of picture and vacant of material. Appears to have been turned on a wheel perfectly cleared out of material. Talking point.
