Singles Tea Tray Set – MADE IN ENGLAND – REGISTRATION APPLIED FOR – Back stamp in blue with anchor. In black hand applied on the back 4101 and 4. Description: White and baby pink glazed china with beautifully hand decorated multi-coloured flowers highlighted and embellished with gold. Lovely set – the gold has rubbed away in places but still prominent and evident. Please see photographs.

Condition: very good for age and use. The gilt is rubbed in areas but not badly and acceptable.
History of Company: New Chelsea Porcelain Co. Ltd. c.1912–1951. New Chelsea Porcelain Co. Ltd produced good quality, moderately priced bone china tea ware and coffee ware. In the 1920s the company produced some striking tea ware decorated with colourful on-glaze enamelling. Trade names include Chelson China and New Chelsea.
